Nationally syndicated radio personality Dave Ramsey, who specializes in personal finance, will host a prime-time program on the Fox Business Network, which is launching Oct. 15 in some 34 million cable homes.
The title and time slot for the show, the first prime-time FBN program to be addressed publicly, are still to come, Fox News Executive VP Kevin Magee said in Thursday’s announcement.
Mr. Ramsey will continue to do his self-titled radio show, which has been on the air for more than 15 years and attracts an average 3 million listeners per week on more than 325 radio stations across the country.
He is the author of five best-selling books, including “Financial Peace,” “More Than Enough” and “The Total Money Makeover,” and the creator of a 13-week program called Financial Peace University, which focuses on reducing debt, gaining control of one’s finances and learning new behaviors around money.
