HD programming picks for Sept. 13-Sept. 19: “Hollywoodland,” “All About My Mother,” “Torchwood”
“Hollywoodland” (HBO HD). Saturday, Sept. 15, 8 p.m.: A private eye investigates a tip that “Superman” actor George Reeves’ mysterious death wasn’t suicide but murder.
“All About My Mother” (HD.net). Tuesday, Sept. 18, 5:15 p.m.: After a woman witnesses the tragic death of her son, she goes in search of his father, who turns out be a transvestite, in Pedro Almodovar’s Oscar-winning film.
“Torchwood” (HD.net) Monday, Sept. 17, 4 p.m.: The BBC’s sci-fi drama about a renegade group of investigators in Wales who use alien technology to solve both alien and human crimes premieres in HD.
