Bright House Lets Tampa Customers Start Over

Bright House Networks said it will launch Start Over in its Tampa Bay, Fla., division on Oct. 24.
Start Over allows customers to restart live programs from the beginning by simply pressing the select button on their remote controls. Time Warner Cable offers a similar service to some of its subscribers,
The network has reached agreements with about 40 national channels, including some from Time Warner, Viacom and News Corp.
“There’s nothing like Start Over in the Tampa Bay market,” said John Rigsby, president of Bright House Networks Florida Group. “It’s convenient, easy to use and available at no additional cost. It’s definitely going to change the way our digital cable customers watch TV.”

  1. The only innovation here is that you do not need a DVR to go back. But with DVR’s at no cost to buy thru Satellite (does have a monthly $5 fee) and the many extra features you get with a DVR, I see little or no real big thing about this.
