Television news icon Walter Cronkite is set to return to the airwaves on Retirement Living TV with weekly editorials during RLTV’s “Daily Café,” a live two-hour program anchored from Washington, D.C.
Mr. Cronkite’s editorials will touch on subjects ranging from the presidential primaries to global warming.
These “Cronkite Commentaries” will begin airing Nov. 20 with a special introduction from current CBS Evening News anchor Katie Couric.
Launched in 2006, RLTV is a network specifically targeted toward people 55 years or older. RLTV reaches 29 million U.S. homes via DirecTV, Comcast and other video providers, and is accessible at www.rl.tv.
