NBC, YouTube Still Talking About Video

Even though NBC Universal has cut off its deal to distribute video over Google’s YouTube, the companies still talk, said NBC Universal Senior VP Ron Lamprecht at the Ad:Tech convention in New York.
That doesn’t mean the media giant has any intention of getting back together with YouTube, as NBC Universal’s focus right now is on its own joint-venture video destination site, Hulu, Mr. Lamprecht said Nov. 6.
Mr. Lamprecht was speaking at a panel on the future of television advertising, along with Michael Steib, director of TV advertising at Google. The two executives were talking about video together just minutes before the panel, Mr. Lamprecht said.
