Bernie Prazenica has been promoted from president and general manager of ABC-owned WTVD-TV in Raleigh-Durham, N.C., to president and general manager of ABC-owned WPVI-TV in Philadelphia.
The move, announced Tuesday by ABC Owned Television Stations Group President Walter Liss, is a homecoming of sorts for Mr. Prazenica, who was director of sales for WPVI from 1994 to 2002. He also was a sales manager for ABC National TV in Philadelphia.
He succeeds Rebecca Campbell, who recently was promoted to president and general manager of WABC-TV in New York.
“We’re now pleased to welcome Bernie back to WPVI-TV and look forward to his success and accomplishments once again in Philadelphia,” Mr. Liss said in the announcement.
