Those who get a kick out of seeing young coeds bare their skin for the cameras now have the opportunity to see everything even more clearly. “Girls Gone Wild: Sexiest Moments Ever 2” will be released Dec. 11 on Blu-ray and HD DVD, according to TVPredictions.com, retailing for $24.95. Producer Mantra Films, started by Joe Francis, says the new video is “the ultimate collection of the wildest and sexiest footage we’ve ever caught on tape,” according to the site. TVPredictions.com notes it is unclear if actual high-definition cameras were used in the shooting of the movie.
Blu-ray Fights Back With Sale
Amazon.com is offering a buy-one-get-one-free sale on more than 100 Blu-ray titles, according to TG Daily. Both Sony and Disney are participating in the sale, but customers can’t mix and match Sony and Disney titles, the report said. Sony films offered include “Casino Royale,” “Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within” and “Hostel.” Disney will offer titles including the first two “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies, “The Prestige” and “Apocalypto.” Amazon has not indicated when the sale expires.
Presidential Debates Inaugurate HD
CNN HD will air the first live presidential debate in HD today at 8 p.m. ET. The Democratic National Committee-sanctioned debate will be moderated by Wolf Blitzer and held at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. It will be broadcast live on CNN HD and in standard-definition formats on CNN/U.S., CNN International, Headline News, CNN Radio, CNN Airport Network and CNN en Español, the network said. The debate also will be streamed on CNN.com live and will be available after the debate through CNN.com’s on-demand video service.
