CBS Mobile has tapped Danny Bonaduce for a new mobile video series that will air on major wireless carriers beginning this week.
The first original animated program developed under the CBS Mobile brand will air a new three- to five-minute episode every two weeks. “Danny Bonaduce: Life Coach,” voiced by the former “Partridge Family” star, will offer satirical life lessons and the results of Mr. Bonaduce’s counsel.
“We feel a strong social responsibility at CBS Mobile, especially for celebrities in need. So we thought, what better way to help than providing timely advice from Danny Bonaduce, a life management expert, on a most personal medium—the cell phone?” joked Cyriac Roeding, executive VP at CBS Mobile.
“All kidding aside, we’re not joking about creating buzz-worthy, up-to-date original content at CBS Mobile and CBS Interactive,” he added.
Fans of Mr. Bonaduce also will be able to sign up for regular life coaching sent directly to their cell phone.
“Do as I say … not as I do,” Mr. Bonaduce said of his new venture on the small screen.
