Truveo’s International Outlook Boosts Traffic to Partner Sites

Video search engine Truveo said traffic to its partner Web sites has grown by 250% following its international expansion in August.
The AOL-owned search engine expanded its presence to France, Germany, India, Japan, Korea, Spain, the United Kingdom and other countries. As a result, more than 70% of traffic to Truveo’s sites now comes from outside the U.S., the company said.
Today, Truveo will add seven more countries: Australia, Brazil, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Russia and Turkey.
Truveo sources content from Web sites such as YouTube and Daily Motion as well as international media brands such as the Sydney Morning Herald from Australia and Videolog from Brazil.

Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.
