In celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Entertainment Studios has produced “We Have a Dream,” a two-hour event profiling the lives of African-American icons that inspire greatness in others. The show has been purchased by stations covering 90% of U.S. households.
Featured in the program are African-American icons including golfer Tiger Woods, actor Denzel Washington, talk show host Oprah Winfrey and poet Maya Angelou.
The program is showcasing African Americans who have succeeded at the American dream, according to Entertainment Studios, 45 years after Dr. King’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech.

  1. I would like to know if Sidney Poitier will be a part of this show, and if someone wanted to send him a thank you letter, WHAT ADDRESS WOULD I SEND IT TO so that he can receive it on the day of the show?
I have always loved his films, and most recently his book, The Measure of a Man, and would like to thank him in writing.
    Thank you.

  2. How can I get a copy to show to AA middle school students who would not have access to seeing it?
    They would truly benefit.

  3. I was so inspired by those celebrity Mr. Byron Allen included that exemplify a mentoring spirit, attitude and a willingness to put their passion into action.
I have a 22 years old son whose dreams seem dispate into dead ends. He has been a mentor since High School. He has excellent academic abilities but for some reason does not believe college is the only route to success.
Could Mr.Allen or one of the celebrities write him a letter of encouragement of what qualifies success.
