Thompson Quits Presidential Race

Former “Law & Order” actor Fred Thompson has ended his candidacy for president of the United States.
“Today, I have withdrawn my candidacy for president of the United States,” Thompson said in a statement. “I hope that my country and my party have benefited from our having made this effort.”
Mr. Thompson, 65, finished third in last week’s South Carolina Republican primary. He quit his role as a district attorney on NBC’s “L&O” in May to focus on his bid for the presidency.
Since originals of “L&O” returned to NBC earlier this month, the long-running crime drama has lagged in the ratings.
An NBC representative did not immediately return a request for comment on whether the network would be interested in having Mr. Thompson return to the show.

  1. Sorry Fred, you just looked too mean; sort of like Katie Couric trying to be Ed Murrow.

  2. I am not truly definite if greatest tactics have emerged almost things similar to that, but I am definite that your huge work is obviously discovered. I was thinking if you offer several registration near your RSS feeds as I would be very interested.
