Veoh Names Henry Senior VP, Ad Sales

Video-sharing site Veoh Networks appointed former Dow Jones executive Michael Henry as senior vice president of ad sales, Veoh announced today. He most recently headed integrated corporate sales and multimedia advertising at Dow Jones.
At Veoh, he’ll be responsible for the national sales team and will open a New York office for the company.
Veoh also hired former Google employee Ron Carpinella as director of eastern sales, based in Atlanta. At Google he led southern U.S. sales and operations.
Veoh said consumers streamed more than 215 million videos on its site last month. According to Nielsen Online, Veoh is the eighth-most viewed video site and attracted 3.1 million unique visitors in December.
