Internet video viewers scaled back their watching during the holiday break, according to the latest figures from Nielsen Online.
Traffic dipped on leading video-sharing sites for the week ending Dec. 30, with many people away from their computers and on vacations.
YouTube drew a unique audience of 31 million that week, down from 32.8 the week ending Dec. 23. Audiences dipped on MNV Video to 2.9 million, down from 4.3 million the week before. Yahoo Video logged 1.4 million unique visitors that week, down from 1.9 the week before.
Look for unique figures to rise again in early January.
