Cannes Content Convention Adds Events Spotlights Branding, Advertising

The 2008 global content convention Mip TV Featuring Milia will feature several events structured around brands and advertisers in anticipation of increased participation by ad agencies, marketing groups and content producers.
Richard Dickson, senior VP of worldwide marketing at Mattel Brands, and Ogilvy Vice Chairman Rory Sutherland will give keynote speeches. Exhibitors include advertising and media groups TBWA, Havas Entertainment, Euro RSCG and Ogilvy, as well as global brands Dove, Nike, American Express, Fanta, Ford, BP and Kodak.
“The growth of advertising agencies and brands participating at Mip TV Featuring Milia 2008 reflects their sincere desire to join the entertainment content production and distribution players—at a development stage—as strategic partners,” said Paul Johnson of Reed Midem, the convention’s organizer.
The 45th Mip TV Featuring Milia, which brings together content creation, production and distribution professionals, runs April 7-11 in Cannes.
