Cardinale Named Senior VP, Research, for Bravo and Oxygen

Tony Cardinale, who had been head of research for Bravo, was named senior VP for research and strategic insights for both Bravo Media and Oxygen Media, which was acquired by NBC Universal last year.
“Tony’s deep knowledge of our consumers and our industry has helped define the Bravo brand, positioning us in a unique and enviable place in the sales, on-air and digital marketplace,” said Lauren Zalaznick, president of Bravo Media and Oxygen Media. “I am certain that his expertise and drive toward innovation will prove to be invaluable in shaping Oxygen as well.”
Mr. Cardinale will report to Ms. Zalaznick and to Sari DeCesare, senior VP, TV network and cable audience research, NBC Universal.
Two Oxygen VPs, Christina Pisano and Sara Barasch, will add responsibilities for Bravo in a new combined research department for the networks. Ms. Pisano will be responsible for primary and ratings research, while Ms. Barasch will be responsible for ad sales research. Both will report to Mr. Cardinale.
