The YES Network has signed former Yankees and Mets pitcher David Cone as an analyst.
Mr. Cone will work both in the broadcast booth and in the studio during baseball games. He also will host YES’ “Yankees on Deck” children’s series and participate in weekly chats at YESNetwork.com
“An astute student of the game, David will be an excellent addition to our on-air lineup,” said John Filippelli, president of production and programming for the YES Network. “He was known as a fierce competitor who relished a battle, and I’m confident that he will bring that same burning desire to excel into the booth.”
Mr. Cone worked for YES during the 2002 season. He replaces David Justice, another former Yankee, as analyst.
