Actress Denise Richards, whose divorce from Charlie Sheen made her a bold-faced tabloid name, has agreed to do a reality show with Ryan Seacrest and E! Entertainment Television.
The series is expected to premiere during the summer.
“At the core of this series is a resilient single mom who is trying to get her life back on track,” said Lisa Berger, Executive VP, Original Programming and Series Development for E! “The show will give viewers an inside look at what it’s like for Denise to go through these ups and downs while always in the public eye.”
The series is being produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions, under its first-look deal with E!. Mr. Seacrest and Ms. Richards will serve as executive producers.
Mr. Seacrest’s company also produces “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” which has generated some of the channel’s highest ratings.
