CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler will be honored by the Alliance for Children’s Rights at its 15th annual awards gala. The organization provides free legal services to impoverished children.
Ms. Tassler will receive the alliance’s National Champion for Children Award during the March 10 event at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
In announcing the honor, the group cited Ms. Tassler’s strong advocacy for children living in poverty in the Los Angeles area as well as her active involvement in fundraising for the alliance.
Also slated to be honored are Stacia and Luc Robitaille, co-founders of foster organization Shelter for Serenity.
The gala doubles as a fundraising event, co-chaired by CBS’ Leslie Moonves and Nancy Tellem. Scheduled to speak at the event are Angie Harmon, Jim Hill and Drew Carey, among others.
