American servicemen and -women overseas will have access to courtroom drama, thanks to a deal that brings Twentieth Television’s “Judge Alex” to the American Forces Network.
AFN is a worldwide radio and television network operated by the United States Department of Defense. “Judge Alex,” on which Judge Alex Ferrer presides over small claims conflicts, will air as part of AFN’s “Prime” channel, which includes American daytime programming such as “Oprah,” “The Dr. Phil Show” and “The View.”
“It is an honor for us to support the American Forces Network. We are thrilled to entertain our troops by bringing them one of our most engaging legal forces who continues to preside over television’s most fascinating cases,” Twentieth Television President Bob Cook said in a statement Wednesday.
The hourlong program will begin airing March 24 on AFN Prime at 11 a.m. on Thursdays and Fridays.
