FremantleMedia to Rep Travel Channel’s Original Programming

The Travel Channel’s original programming will now be distributed exclusively through FremantleMedia.
The multiyear partnership announced Wednesday gives FME access to a catalogue of more than 200 hours of Travel Channel content, including “Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations,” “Bizarre Foods With Andrew Zimmern” and “Jack Hannah.”
The agreement also includes a first-look deal for new productions.
FME plans to showcase Travel Channel content for international purchase at this year’s Mip TV market, held in April in Cannes.
Travel Channel President Patrick Younge said in a statement, “This opportunity enables us to both build the Travel Channel brand internationally and to support the U.S. tourism industry by showcasing domestic destinations to millions of international travelers.”
