As audiences grow in the online video world, Web producers have the potential to make a lot of money, said Martin Sargent, host of “Internet Superstar.”
In an exclusive interview with TelevisionWeek at the Ad:Tech San Francisco 2008 conference, Mr. Sargent said audiences for some Internet TV shows approach the audiences for niche cable network programs.
Also, the young male demographic that advertisers covet is increasingly tuning out of traditional TV in favor of the Web, Mr. Sargent said.
