HD programming picks for April 17-23: Fantastic Festivals of the World: Argentina, “Lenny,” “Cars”/“Who Killed the Electric Car?”
Fantastic Festivals of the World: Argentina (HD Theater). Thursday, April 17, 8 p.m. Cowboy up, Argentina style, with La Fiesta de la Tradicion and its celebration of the gaucho.
“Lenny” (MGM HD). Sunday, April 20, 9 p.m. Dustin Hoffman portrays controversial comic Lenny Bruce in the 1974 Oscar-nominated film that also earned nominations for Mr. Hoffman and director Bob Fosse.
“Cars”/“Who Killed the Electric Car?” (Starz). Tuesday, April 22, 6:05 p.m./8:20 p.m. Drive-in double feature, with the Disney/Pixar animated vroom-fest on the front end and the documentary examining the rise and fall of GM’s EV1 for the nightcap.
