HD programming picks for April 3-9: “Star Wars: Episode I—The Phantom Menace,” NCAA Final Four, “Play Misty for Me”
“Star Wars: Episode I—The Phantom Menace” (Spike TV). Friday, April 4, 8 p.m. ET. Liam Neeson, Ewan McGregor and Natalie Portman go back to the future in the first prequel to the 1977 blockbuster.
NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Finals (CBS). Saturday, April 5, Memphis vs. UCLA at 6 p.m. ET, North Carolina vs. Kansas at approximately 9 p.m. ET. Winners play in championship game on Monday, April 7, 8 p.m. ET.
“Play Misty for Me” (HDNet). Wednesday, April 9, 8:15 p.m. ET. Jazz, a DJ and a creepy stalker mix in Clint Eastwood’s 1971 directorial debut. Premieres in HD.


  1. High heel pumps are painful, beautiful designer garments cannot mean that you are picturesque and in some cases the best profitable models are entirely sad

  2. The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.
