Discovery Communications’ TLC announced it is working on shows with two high-profile showbiz couples: Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, and Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos.
Ms. Lopez and Mr. Anthony will appear in a reality series looking at the inner workings of their lives. Ms. Lopez will co-create and co-executive produce the series.
Ms. Ripa and Mr. Consuelos will be developing several unscripted shows for TLC, including one that will star the “Live With Regis and Kelly” co-host.
The deals were announced at the Discovery Communications upfront presentation Wednesday in New York.
Discovery also showed a video in which Oprah Winfrey discussed plans for OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, which debuts in the second half of 2009.
