ReelzChannel is geeking out this summer movie season with ReelzChannel Fan-tastic Summer, a “fan-centric” promotional programming initiative.
The cable movie network plans to add special features and programming to its online and television lineup that focus on this year’s slate of summer films.
ReelzChannel has added a number of interactive features to its Web site, including chats with Leonard Maltin, the host of its film show “Secret’s Out,” and polls for their favorite movie to air on its sneak-peek show “The Big Tease.”
Televised segments will include casting specials; “making-of” documentaries; “First Fans,” a man-on-the-street show that interviews moviegoers standing in line at premieres; “Dailies,” a topical blockbuster information show; and dedicated specials on anticipated films like “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian,” the “Sex and the City” movie and the latest “Indiana Jones” installment.
The promotion, starting this week, is set to run until Labor Day.
