Art Ventura has been named senior vice president of advertising sales for MSG Media.
Mr. Ventura comes to MSG from Fox Television, where he most recently held the position of local sales manager for WNYW-TV Fox5 and WWOR-TV My9. Before that, Mr. Ventura was an account executive at ABC.
In the newly created position with MSG, Mr. Ventura will oversee the company’s sales team and act as chief representative for Madison Square Garden’s media properties, including MSG and MSG Plus television networks.
“We are excited to have Art join our team as we continue to grow our business and develop innovative ways to sell integrated content partnerships and multiplatform media sponsorships,” Michael Bair, president of MSG Media, in a statement Thursday. “Art comes to MSG Media with a very strong background in television and digital advertising sales in the sports and entertainment industry, and we feel he will be a great asset to our company.”
