Arsenio Hall is returning to prime-time television as host of “Funniest Moments,” a home-video blooper show for MyNetworkTV.
Mr. Hall hosted and executive produced “The Arsenio Hall Show,” a late-night talk show that ran from 1989-94 and won multiple Primetime Emmys. The actor-comedian had a starring role in the film “Coming to America,” which he also co-wrote. He was a series regular on CBS drama “Martial Law” and hosted the network’s “Star Search” for two seasons.
“Bringing years of comedic experience and timing, both behind and in front of the camera, we are thrilled to welcome Arsenio to the MyNetworkTV schedule,” MyNetworkTV President Greg Meidel said in a statement Tuesday.
The hourlong “Funniest Moments” (working title), produced by Associated Television International, is set to premiere this fall in a 9 p.m. slot on Wednesdays.

  1. I worked with Arsenio on SOLID GOLD at Paramount in the eighties and got to know him well.
He’s very talented, professional and “wacked out” for the creative process. A nice combination for him and his audience.
    Hey, Arsenio….click on my name.

  2. Amazing freakin blog here. I almost cried while reading it!

  3. This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
