Event producer ASA Entertainment is teaming up with CBS Sports to broadcast weekend sports entertainment this fall.
ASA produces several hundred events and television programs that cover skateboarding, freestyle BMX, inline skating and freestyle motocross, among other sports. Beginning in November, CBS Sports will air four hours of ASA programming, including the Big-Air BMX Triples event and the LG Action Sports World Tour Championships.
“We are delighted to have the Action Sports World Tour televised on CBS Sports for the fourth consecutive year in 2008,” ASA CEO Rick Bratman said in a statement Tuesday. “The partnership has been very good to us in the past and we expect even stronger viewership in 2008 as CBS Sports further solidifies its position within action sports programming.”
The CBS Sports television dates are as follows, with all times Eastern: Saturday, Nov. 8, at 2 p.m.; Sunday, Dec. 7, at 5 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 13, at 1 p.m.; and Saturday, Dec. 20 at 1 p.m.
