DIC Draws on GoFish as Web Ad Liaison

Children’s programming producer DIC Entertainment has tapped content management and distribution company GoFish Corp. to serve as its liaison to Web advertisers across DIC’s online properties.
GoFish will focus on bringing content- and age-appropriate advertisers to DIC’s various children’s Web sites, including KewlCartoons.com, Kewlopolis.com and Caketv.com, in addition to other program-specific sites.
“Children today spend a significant amount of time online, so it has become essential for us to have a major online presence with our properties if we want to continue to effectively build our brands,” said Frederic Soulie, DIC vice president of interactive and new media. “We also need to be conscientious of the quality of advertising crossing our sites, and GoFish has the expertise and track record to help us meet those objectives.”
“DIC Entertainment is a pioneer in the youth media market, and we are confident that this new collaboration will both enhance and expand the quality of ad content currently available on its sites,” GoFish Vice President David Fisch said.
