NBC drama chief Katie O’Connell has been promoted to executive vice president, the network announced Monday.
Ms. O’Connell, who has been a senior vice president since 2006, will continue to oversee drama development as well as current drama series for the Peacock. She reports to Teri Weinberg, executive vice president of NBC Entertainment.
“Katie personifies the qualities of a leader and the understanding it takes to be an entrepreneur in a paradigm-shifting business,” Ms. Weinberg said. “She is an integral part in targeting exceptional concepts that will be developed and maintained as successful year-round series.”
Ms. O’Connell joined NBC in 2005, launching a New York-based development office. She relocated to NBC’s Burbank offices in 2006.
During her time in New York, Ms. O’Connell helped develop the pilot for the NBC comedy “30 Rock.” She came to the network after a five-year run at Imagine Television, where she worked on series such as “Arrested Development” and “24.”

send out a general response. Any help in finding her would be appreciated
Hmm. I’m her cousin. I could get in touch with her. But I can’t say if I’ll have any affect on her, lol, but I can say something.
