‘Tinga Tinga’ in Works for 2009

By Global distribution group Entertainment Rights PLC will help bring Tiger Aspect Productions’ “Tinga Tinga Tales,” a series of animated African creation myths, to the United States and UK.
In association with Kenya-based studio Homeboyz, Tiger Aspect will deliver 52 11-minute episodes to Playhouse Disney in the U.S. and British broadcaster CBeebies in fall 2009. Entertainment Rights is managing “Tina Tinga’s” worldwide distribution as part of a continued global business development initiative.
“We are delighted to be working with Playhouse Disney and CBeebies to launch the show, and proud to be part of such a groundbreaking project,” said Deborah Dugan, CEO of Entertainment Rights, North America, in a statement Thursday.

Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.
