WE tv, GSN and Bravo are among cable networks that will be making news about their upcoming programming plans at the summer Television Critics Association’s press tour, which begins this week.
WE tv is adding a new bridal series to its “Bridezillas”-fueled lineup. The new show, “My Fair Wedding,” features nuptials headed for disaster that get rescued.
WE said it will air six one-hour episodes of “My Fair Wedding” beginning Oct. 26 at 10 p.m. The show features celebrity party planner David Tutera.
“David’s philosophy of celebrating your life in style and his expertise in transforming ordinary events into extraordinary affairs makes this a perfect match for WE tv,” said Kim Martin, the network’s executive VP and general manager.
GSN plans to formally show off its new game show “Catch 21,” hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro. The show’s season of 40 episodes debuts July 21.
GSN describes “Catch 21” as a game that turns on knowledge and strategy, with correct answers giving players control of the deck as they try to build to blackjack without going bust. The winning player gets a shot at a prize of up to $25,000 in the final round.
The series was created by Merrill Heatter, known in the game-show world for his involvement with “High Rollers” and “Hollywood Squares.” Mr. Heatter will be executive producer along with Scott Sternberg, CEO and founder of Scott Sternberg Productions.
Meanwhile, Bravo is quietly moving forward with a second season of “Make Me a Supermodel,” the runway competition series from IMG Media’s Tiger Aspect Productions. The network is expected to announce the pickup during its portion of the press tour later this month.
The first season of “”Supermodel” premiered in January and ran for 13 episodes. There’s no word yet on talent for season two or a premiere date.
The cable portion of the TCA press tour runs Tuesday through Thursday this week, but cable networks owned by media companies that also run broadcast networks—Walt Disney Co., NBC Universal, CBS Corp. and News Corp.—will present their wares during the broadcast portion of the tour over the next few weeks.

  2. Very well friends, Lohan is back to her well-established ways….Lindsay Lohan admitted to failing a court-ordered narcotic test last week. She tweeted the subsequent: “This was certainly a setback for me though I will be taking responsibility for my activities and I’m willing to face the consequences.” And so, maybe merely putting her in gaol for 14 days and rehabilitation for less wasn’t one of the best idea!

  3. Both of them The president and Ahmadinejad are overwhelmed with uppity peasants. Barak from the Tea Party. Ahmadinejad on the Green Revolution which is silly.
