Super Bowl-winning quarterback Trent Dilfer will join ESPN as an NFL studio analyst beginning this season, ESPN announced Monday.
Dilfer, who recently announced his retirement after 14 seasons that included quarterbacking the 2000 Baltimore Ravens to the Super Bowl XXXV championship, will appear on ESPN programs including “NFL Live,” “NFL PrimeTime,” Sunday and Monday nights’ “SportsCenter” during the NFL season and “Monday Night Countdown.”
He also will take part in ESPN’s Super Bowl week and NFL draft coverage and will provide regular analysis on ESPN Radio and ESPN.com.
“Trent is a Super Bowl champion quarterback with strong, candid opinions and a tremendous insight on the game and today’s players, having been in the huddle just last season,” said Norby Williamson, ESPN executive vice president, production.
Dilfer will appear on “NFL Live” at 4 p.m. EDT today via phone to discuss his retirement, his new role at ESPN and other NFL topics.

  1. Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

  2. I agree with your thoughts here and I really love your blog! I’ve bookmarked it so that I can come back & read more in the future.

  3. High quality info here! Keep up the great work. I love the feelings being expressed.
