NBA Digital Names Perez Senior VP/GM

Bryan Perez has been tapped to fill the newly created position of senior vice president and general manager of NBA Digital.
Perez will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of NBA Digital, which includes digital TV network NBA TV, NBA.com, WNBA.com, NBADLeague.com, NBA League Pass and the league’s broadband and wireless businesses. He will oversee programming, operations, editorial, e-commerce and marketing.
Perez most recently was CEO of Live Nation’s Global Digital division. He also served as executive VP of strategy and business development for Clear Channel Entertainment.
“Bryan’s professional credentials are extensive, diverse and impressive, and he will bring great creative energy and smart business sense to his new role. Bryan’s impressive track record of experience and leadership has helped build the growth of several sports and entertainment organizations. He brings vast experience within the digital arena and I am confident, with Bryan as its head, we will successfully grow NBA Digital among our key constituents,” David Levy, president of Turner Sports, said in a statement.
NBA Digital was born out of an expanded partnership with Turner Broadcasting System. Turner operates the NBA’s digital businesses, which are jointly managed by the two companies, out of its Atlanta production facility.
