The Hershey Co. has become an official corporate partner for the NCAA, beginning with the 2009 NCAA Division I men’s basketball championship.
The deal will give Hershey category exclusive marketing and promotional rights for the NCAA’s 88 championship events. Hershey will work with the NCAA and CBS Sports to develop activation platforms at the national, regional and local levels, in addition to incorporating integrated marketing, promotional campaigns and advertising across a variety of mediums.

Hershey markets some of the most recognizable brands in this country and will provide unparalleled activation and promotional opportunities for the NCAA and its championships,” Chris Simko, senior vice president of CBS Sports Sales & Marketing and director of CBS Sports Properties Group, said in a statement.
