New Blog: NATPE 365 Launches on TVWeek.com

Jul 14, 2008  •  Post A Comment

TVWeek.com welcomes a new blog to its roster of industry insiders: “NATPE 365,” with year-round updates from the National Association of Television Program Executives.
NATPE’s annual heyday is its conference in January, but the association is busy all year long. In the new “NATPE 365” blog, syndication executives and association members weigh in on the organization and the business it helps support.
For the inaugural posts, NATPE President-CEO Rick Feldman and Co-Chair Kevin Beggs write about NATPE’s past and present.
Currently on NATPE’s plate is the upcoming LATV Fest, a three-day gathering featuring producer panels and digital discussion. Mr. Feldman also offers TVWeek readers a 30% discount on all-access passes to the festival, held July 30-August 1 in Los Angeles.
Mr. Beggs waxes nostalgic about NATPE’s lively days in the mid-’90s, which included a lot of Hulk Hogan and “Thunder Girls” in Miami. Since then the organization continues to be one of the most important facilitators for syndication success.

  1. The entire point of [logo] style is not to show off??? what you could do. It’s not about bells and wh istles. It really is that type of considering that has quite a bit of existing designers applying gradients on every single design component as if they had something to perform with v isual communication. The lion drawing does notneed anymore pol ishing. From exactly where I stand, It really is at a level wherever it may possibly ONLY be applied or d iscarded. For those who consider it requires far more pol ishing ,that it can be too cartoony??? , or that you’ve styl istic objections with the option, then maybe you??? re in the mistaken occupation. You??? re complaining about one thing really basic to fashionable graphic layout. I’ve study from a number of the greats around the subject of layout and I do consider I have a cope with on the subject. It isn’t your deal with, I have an understanding of that. What I do notunderstand is your layout philosophy. It can be popular that you suppose Nike and Shell are good brands. Maybe you??? re an Worldwide Fashion zealot who thinks a grid may be the solution to each and every style trouble. Maybe that’s what you meant by pol ished? Or maybe you??? re into a lot of pointless detail on a logo that should turn out to be no ise because it is shrunken down? I do notknow. My grammar is frequently fine, thank you for asking. It is my spelling that was off in a number of places and for that, I apologize, but, you understand, if my grammar was anyplace close as horrible as you declare then you??? d have had a very difficult time comprehending what I wrote. There can be absolutely nothing so that you can react to. I do notknow about you, but it surely is very difficult for me to have angry at gibber ish in particular when I have no concept what it means.
