Univision will incorporate major show sponsors during its live broadcast of the fifth annual Premios Juventud (Youth Awards), airing tonight at 7 p.m. The awards recognize celebrities, artists and athletes popular among Hispanic youth.
Among the show’s sponsors are Chevrolet, State Farm, JCPenney, Target, McDonalds and Orbit, which will be featured prominently during the broadcast’s various elements.
Chevrolet’s line of hybrid vehicles will be used to usher in stars to the red carpet, where State Farm will be featured for “La Intersección de Tu Vida” (The Intersection of Your Life) segments. JCPenney will underwrite three scholarships and give the chosen winners makeovers for their show attendance. Target is sponsoring one of the show’s Web components, a blog written by contest winners selected to cover the event.
McDonalds and Orbit commercials will get prominent exposure during the telecast as well.
“Such unique Univision properties as ‘Premios Juventud’ offer a wide variety of marketing platforms that help advertisers reach a unique set of customers they can’t access anywhere else,” said David Lawenda, Univision’s president of advertising sales and marketing. “We’re committed to creating innovative opportunities that are tailored to meet our clients’ needs, and the ways we’ve been able to seamlessly integrate brands into this show are testament to that.”
