CNN/U.S. President Jonathan Klein maps out how his network plans to follow up a successful primary season and keep its momentum now that the election has narrowed to a two-man race.
The news exec tells TVWeek’s Jon Lafayette that CNN will continue to present “a full range of opinions,” while courting younger viewers in particular by making good use of its Web site and other strong digital media assets.
With the primaries out of the way, he says, the focus for election coverage will shift increasingly to issues rather than personalities.
