YouTube, People Seek Emmy Red-Carpet Correspondent

YouTube struck a partnership with People magazine’s Web site People.com to launch a contest for an aspiring reporter to cover the red carpet at the Emmy Awards on Sept. 21. The competition is sponsored by Revlon.
Applicants can submit videos through July 21.
People.com will select 10 finalists. YouTube and People.com users then can vote on a winner, who will be announced Aug. 21.
People also is launching a YouTube Channel for its videos.
