CBS Sports and the Southeastern Conference college sports organization agreed to a 15-year contract extension that will keep SEC home football games and the conference championship on the network.
CBS Sports also will continue its coverage of SEC basketball, the two parties said in a statement. Beyond the broadcast rights, the deal includes some digital, wireless, video-on-demand, data and highlight rights across all CBS media.
The deal will let CBS Sports keep its “The SEC on CBS” as a cornerstone of fall programming, said Sean McManus, president of CBS News and Sports.
