Beth Greenwald has been named vice president of original programming and series development for E! Entertainment Television.
Ms. Greenwald previously was a senior development executive for New Line Television, where she oversaw production and development for the studio’s television division. She also was an executive at RDF USA, in addition to working in series development at MTV Networks.
Separately, Jason Salarnis has been promoted to director of original programming and series development. He will work alongside Ms. Greenwald and Original Programming and Series Development VP Damla Dogan.
E! also has folded its talent development and casting group into the network’s team.
“Beth has a long track record of success developing hit shows that appeal to young viewers. We are fortunate to have her on board as we continue to build the network’s original programming and expand series development across a variety of genres,” Lisa Berger, executive VP of original programming and series development for E!, said in a statement. “I am incredibly excited to have solidified the E! team with such talented executives who possess outstanding experience and incredibly strong relationships within the industry.”
