James Sullivan has been promoted to president of sales for CBS Television Stations.
Mr. Sullivan will continue to oversee national sales for the 29-station group as he moves into his new role, which has been vacant since Julio Marenghi left recently.
He will report to CBS Television Stations President Tom Kane, who announced the boost Monday.
Mr. Sullivan had been president of national sales for two years since moving up from a four-year stint as VP and director of sales for CBS-owned WBBM-TV in Chicago. He first joined the group before its merger with Viacom-owned stations as VP and group sales manager of spot sales. He had previously been an executive with Petry, the national rep firm.
