Superstation WGN announced today the latest addition to its fall lineup. “The Bob & Tom Show,” one of the highest-rated morning radio shows in the country, will be making the move to television beginning Nov. 3 on the cable network.
The television show will feature highlights from the morning radio broadcast. It will air weeknights at midnight on the East Coast, 11 p.m. Central time and 9 p.m. in the west.
Hosts Bob Kevoian and Tom Griswold are known for their comedy, often creating characters for the show and parodying celebrities. The radio show also features interviews with notable guests.

  1. I can’t believe anyone with any sense would make the decision to air this utter nonsense. It’s particularly mind blowing that it’s allowed to displace a winner like Corner Gas. Corner Gas has now moved to a seriously off-prime-time slot. Please tell me this was a failed experiment, apologize to your viewers and get the Bob & Tom insanity off the air. I understand the financial attraction of airing a production that requires no writing talent and attending costs, but it contains no other talent either.

  2. I can’t believe anyone who watches such boring sounding shows like “corner gas” would even have enough personality to own a computer and know how to get on the Internet. But then again, it makes sense….that they would, in order to complain about one of the most funniest radio shows in history. A show that is so original, never gets old, constantly features famous stars, muscians, as well as some of the most talented up-rising comedians today, while maintaining the ability to continually come up with unique, clever, humorous commercials, skits, and mock interviews, that’s not only ingenious and hilarious, but also manages to do all this while incorporating current events, news and the latest celebrities scandals that leave you in tears! So I can see the nerd who wouldn’t like it. It’s a great way to start your day!!!!

  3. Bob and Tom sukk, bottom line, although the comics they do have on are worth the crap ya have to wade thru to hear them, I get soo pissed with the constant Forced Laugh from the rest of the crew while what ever is being played or a comic is saying, if its funny thats one thing, but the constant annoyance of their forced laughs over whatever so called Skit they are playing is what kills me, makes me think they do that sh** just to try and convey to the audience what is funny.
    FAIL.

  4. Thanks for airing Bob & Tom…we all need a laugh in this day & age. 🙂

  5. I can’t believe anyone who wouldn’t want to hear Bob & Tom would be here complaining. If you don’t like it, find somewhere else to go! I think you just like complaining!

  6. Change channels, move on..how hard is that? Don’t like it…find something else to listen to!

  7. I’ve been listening to the radio show for years. If it wasn’t for the show I would never had been introduced to so many great comedians like the fabulous Tim Wilson. Good move WGN. You guys rock!

  8. Love watching you guys. Keep up the good work.

  11. This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
