The CW has promoted Rob Tuck to executive vice president of national sales. He will be responsible for the network’s sales and advertising efforts for prime time as well as the Web site CWtv.com.
Mr. Tuck also will oversee integrated marketing initiatives such as The CW’s content wraps, “cwickies” and “cwingers.”
Mr. Tuck has been executive VP of sales and planning for the network since 2006. He previously worked for The WB, which he joined in 1995. He held positions at The WB as VP of East Coast sales, VP of western sales and VP of pricing before rising to senior VP of national sales in 2002.
“A highly respected and incredibly talented executive, Rob possesses the experience and pedigree to seamlessly take the reins and lead our sales force into the future,” John Maatta, chief operating officer of The CW, said in a statement. “An invaluable member of our sales team since the beginning of The CW, we’re confident that Rob will continue to provide the level of innovation and service our clients have come to expect from us for years to come.”
