CW’s Reeling in ‘Light Years’

Sep 23, 2008  •  Post A Comment

The CW is moving forward with “Light Years,” an hourlong dramedy being described as “Juno” meets “Gilmore Girls.”
Liz Tigelaar (“What About Brian,” “Brothers & Sisters”) will write the pilot, while Gary Fleder (“Life on Mars”) will direct. Both will executive produce via ABC Studios.
“Light Years” revolves around a teenage girl who has spent most of her life in foster homes. She searches for—and finds—her birth parents, only to discover they haven’t spoken to each other since she was born. Mom is a commitment-phobic radio host, while dad is a slacker bar owner. They form an unlikely family unit.
The CW has given the project a pilot presentation commitment.

  4. Precious Record! My partner and i had been simply assuming that there’s a huge amount of flawed selective information for this area also, you truly altered my own assestment. Many thanks an enjoyable info.

  5. Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

  6. Way to focus and straight to your point, i love it. Keep up the work people. Dont let anyone stop us bloggers.
