HealthiNation Lands $7.5 Million Investment

Broadband video health information and lifestyle network HealthiNation landed $7.5 million in a series B round of venture funding, led by Intel Capital.
The cash infusion will support additional growth in programming, ad sales and operations for HealthiNation, the company said. Previous investor MK Capital also invested in the round.
HealthiNation also landed new partnerships with health site LifeScript, medical information site UCompare Healthcare, Parade Magazine and Guideposts Magazine. They join HealthiNation’s existing distribution partners such as Yahoo! Health, US News & World Report and Answers.com.
