Director John Landis and producer Kevin Burns are collaborating on an original special on cross-dressing in film for Starz.
“Starz Inside: Ladies or Gentlemen” is scheduled to premiere Dec. 16 on the pay cable channel.
The special is inspired by Jean-Louis Ginibre’s critically acclaimed book and points to performances including John Travolta (“Hairspray”), Tim Curry (“The Rocky Horror Picture Show”), Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis (“Some Like it Hot”) and Dustin Hoffman (“Tootsie”).
“Starz Inside,” hosted by film critic and author Richard Roeper, examines people, trends and culture in movie entertainment.
