Bravo Turns Up the Flame on Fashion

Oct 30, 2008  •  Post A Comment

Bravo announced a slew of projects in development at the network, in addition to the pickup of new fashion competition series “The Fashion Show.”
Shows in development include the topical “Fashionality,” featuring some of New York’s biggest “tastemakers” as they explore popular topics in media and fashion through interviews and discussions, and the competition series “Celebrity Sew-Off,” where famous faces team up with industry vets to see who has the creativity needed to launch a clothing label.
Among the new docu-series Bravo is exploring are the photography-themed “Double Exposure,” the polo-centric “Polo” and “The Dubai Project,” announced earlier this week.
In the wake of ongoing litigation over Bravo staple “Project Runway’s” move to Lifetime, Bravo also has picked up “The Fashion Show,” a competition series where America decides the winning designer who will have his or her designs sold by a retailer. Casting calls for “Fashion” are being held in New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Chicago in November.
