After a 46-year career, Hearst-Argyle Television’s Senior VP for News Fred I. Young will retire by the end of the year.
“Fred has had a remarkable career with our company, first as an executive in Pittsburgh with Hearst Broadcasting, and in recent years leading the local news work of the Hearst-Argyle stations,” said the company’s President and CEO David J. Barrett. “His imprint on our company is indelible.”
Mr. Young will be succeeded by Brian Bracco, who currently serves as a corporate VP for News at Hearst-Argyle.
