Yes! Mike Fratello has joined the YES Network as an analyst for the network’s New Jersey Nets basketball telecasts. Mr. Fratello joins play-by-play announcer Marv Albert, with whom he currently calls games for TNT’s national NBC telecasts, and analyst Jim Spanarkel.
Mr. Fratello has a winning record as an NBA coach for the Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers and Memphis Grizzlies from 1983 to 2007.
“The Nets have been very active during the off-season, with their draft selections and other acquisitions, so this coming season should be very interesting,” Mr. Fratello said in a statement. “Of course, I am extremely overwhelmed with excitement and enthusiasm about spending even more time behind the mic with The Marvelous One, Marv Albert.”

  1. Mike(Brillo),
I am a frat brother, remember. I was in your wedding party. I can never forget you. We had such good times. We went to all the games together.
I own a nice big house in Fort Worth , Texas; not too far from the new “Cowboys” stadium. I kept telling everyone last year that the Giants would win!!! That win is a story of “GREAT DEFENSE” and captitalizing on opportunity; that last Giant touch down. I went back to Fort Lee for my High School Reunion in 2007. Our football coach attended. We had a small Fort Lee Football reunion within the reunion classes 61-63. I was a guard on a Fort Lee team that won state champs New Jersey 1960. Yes I know that you made All State center Hackensack 1965 and that you knock me out boxing 1966. Call me 817-521-5452 OR 817-851-5352. EMAIL shackaegis@yahoo.com

  2. Great post!

  3. Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.

  4. Hey how are you doing? I just wanted to stop by and say that it’s been a pleasure reading your blog. I have bookmarked your website so that I can come back & read more in the future as well. plz do keep up the quality writing
